Company

The main inspiration is the work of Antonio José Martínez Palacios, in this case a rondo. I have titled it En algún lugar because this piece seeks to pay respectful homage to his legacy and the mark he has left on the music and culture of this country. In a way, it questions where his legacy and his work stand today; whether they receive the recognition they deserve. I believe he is being unjustly forgotten; just like his body, because he was shot and is buried in a mass grave.
