Dance for everyone
There are many studies about the benefits of Dance. Through dance we can gain and develop abilities, skills, motor tasks, improve co-ordination, creativity, memory, attention, and social interaction. These benefits are also enjoyed by disabled people.
That is why at Ballet Nacional de España we wish our educational project to be inclusive, accessible to disabled people, fulfilling the mission of the BNE which, as a state company, aims at reaching “everyone”.
The impact artistic practices have on the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities is evident in that apart from gaining new knowledge and learning, they become more creative, improve their ability to plan, their self-esteem and self-determination.
The aim is to equip all our activities with accessibility measures based on the Inclusion Europe quality criteria.
