The night that precedes the great event “She” dreams on being chosen by the Prince Charming, like each dreamed prince. It´s the dawn. The nightly dream dissapears and “She” awakens to keep on dreaming with her eyes opened.

Special day, the radio announces: day of royal wedding. Loud noise in palace. Celebration is expected. “She” is working at the kitchen. Everyone is excited.

“They´re dressing the groom!”, the radio proclaims. The expectant people are listening to and imagining: a popular performance of the great wedding. In the kitchen, “She” is dressed as the bride. The most handsome chef, as the groom. Everyone is playing. Everyone wants to be a prince, everyone wants to be a princess. “The couple is reaching the church!”, the radio announces. The music of the ceremony can be heard in the kitchen. The workers move carefully, gently, imagining the ritual. “She” dances the dream of the magic moment. “Party at the palace!” the radio says. Celebration in the kitchen. Till the end of the day. A very special day. And everyone comes back to reality. “She” is left alone, alone with her radio that, as a knight, invites her to keep on dreaming.

José María Sánchez

“It is not the same to dream at night as it is to dream by day. At night, we dream with our eyes closed. By day, with our eyes open. At night, dreams are called dreams. By day, they are called hopes. And if, in the light of day, we modulate the images of our hopes with the frequency of music, we will be able to witness, with our eyes open, the humorous spectacle of what we would like to be and are not.”
