“Eleven years have passed since Antonio left us, after having written one of the most brilliant chapters in the history of Spanish dance. My admiration for his work and his figure is reflected in the choreography Elegía. Homenaje a Antonio Ruiz Soler, in which, to music by Joaquín Turina, I offer a personal reinterpretation of one of the most emblematic moments for Spanish dance abroad: the triumph of the dance partnership Rosario and Antonio in the United States.
My deepest gratitude for his legacy.”
