World premiere by the Ballet Nacional de España on 23rd January 2004 at the Palacio de Festivales in Santander (Spain).
A life full of travelling and dancing. Very different countries; taking in lands and seas. Meeting men and women of different habits, languages, and personalities. What I have learnt is that the greatest wealth of man is diversity, blending, the force of mixing colours. Light reflects on us and issues colours that translate feelings:
Red: Passion, love, but also war;
Blue: calmness but also coldness;
Green: harmony but also envy.
Light strips our feelings breaking them into Colours.
